2ND ANNUAL RUN A MUCK MUD BOG AND MUD SLING COMING OCT. 7TH TO VIRGINIA MOTOR SPEEDWAY
Jamaica,VA (September 13, 2006) - Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway will host the 2nd Annual Run-A-Muck Mud Bog and Mud Sling Saturday October 7th featuring a state of the art 200-foot Mud Bog and Mud Sling pits. There will be seven classes in action ranging from street to unlimited with cash payouts in all classes.
Not only will fans get to see hordes of trucks splashing through the 200 foot Mud Bog pit but they will also get the opportunity to see some of the regions best Mud Dragsters covering the 200 foot Mud Sling pit in under three seconds. The event will also include Stone Crusher in a car crushing monster truck freestyle show.
Gates and registration open at 9am with Single Eliminations for Stock A, B; Modified A, B, C along with X, XX AND Tractor Tire classes starting at 1pm. Registration for Stock and Modified classes ends at noon with X, XX Unlimited and Tractor Tire ending at 2:30pm. Rules for each class will be available in the next couple of days at www.vamotorspeedway.com.
Admission for the 2nd Annual Run-A-Muck Mud Bog and Mud Sling is Adults - $10, Children 7 – 12 years old - $5 and Children 6 and under FREE. There will be limited trackside parking for $10 on a first come first serve basis.
Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway is located on U.S. Route 17, eight miles north of Saluda, VA and 25 miles south of Tappahannock, VA. The Speedway is just a short drive from Richmond, Fredericksburg, Southern Maryland and the Hampton Roads area.
