The North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island celebrates Ocean Exploration Week on July 10-July 14th, from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. each day.
Discover the ocean as never before! Meet the creatures of the deep, learn about lights in the deep sea and come face to face with the giant squid.
Enjoy hands-on workshops with NOAA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration as they present, mock shipwrecks and remotely operated vehicles. These workshops offer a fun and exciting opportunity to work with current ocean explorers. There will be divers in the 285,000-gallon Graveyard of the Atlantic tank, live animal programs, children friendly crafts, guest speakers and much, much, more.
