Our military personnel is owed our respect and gratitude having dutifully paid, for the pursuit of freedom, with strife, life and limb. The seventeen to twenty-five year old Vietnam Veterans left fresh faced; but returned as soldiers, casualties of war. Their faces drawn having witnessed and experienced atrocities no one should endure.
Many, who jeered the returned military personnel, would never experience the loneliness, hopelessness, extreme environmental conditions and fear these young soldiers bore in their stead. We owe the highest esteem to those who travel to distant lands and endure the hardship of war, preserving the homeland, peace and liberty we often take for granted.

Enter the media-dubbed "Peace Mom's" reply to inquires about Casey's missing tombstone. In two years of globe trotting with Hugo and Jessie[the list is much longer] she didn't have time? or did not find the correct frame of mind? to place Casey Sheehan's headstone. Unthinking of the opinion backlash, she said," It is no one's business if Casey has no tombstone" The real reason, Sheehan has explained in a Web-published response to criticism of her handling of the gravesite, is grief.
Having viewed the video of the media dubbed "Peace Mom's" reaction to unexpectedly being reminded of Casey's missing tombstone - The usually very chatty, smiling, lime lit, media dubbed, "Peace Mom" [who can all but drowned herself in tears when the cameras were on] was fumbling for words. She was sucker punched by the young reporter's unexpected question of "negativity" and had a hard time coming up for air.
Cindy Sheehan had time and was in the right frame of mind to choose a new car to better serve her agenda and plan a vacation to Hawaii; but not enough time to choose Casey's grave marker.
